There are also daily trains from Myitkyina (16 hours), Hopin (for Indawgyi Lake) (12 hours), and Naba (for Katha) (8 hours). On this route, there are ‘Express’ and ‘Slow’ trains; these journeys are slow and bumpy – make sure to take the express!
