Boat

There are daily boats to Kalewa, departing Monywa at 4am and arriving at 2pm. Prices are K16,000 standard level, K32,000 upper level. There are also daily boats to Homalin. Tickets cost K34,000.

Boats on the Chindwin River have large TV screens and music playing (often loud), much like many buses in Myanmar.
