There are daily air-conditioned buses to Myeik (12 hours, K25,000), Dawei (20 hours, K35,000) and Yangon (36 hours, K49,000). Minibuses also run daily to Myeik and Dawei; they are usually slightly faster but run at less regular intervals and can be booked through hotels in Kawthaung.
