There are daily buses from Falam to Kalaymyo; the beautiful and winding mountain journey takes around 5 hours and costs K3000 (Kalaymyo has regular flights to Yangon and Mandalay). There are also daily buses to Hakha (4 hours, K3000).

More comfortable minibus services to Kalaymyo and Hakha usually leave later in the morning than public buses, and cost K7000.

Due to Christian religious observance, it can be difficult to find transport on Sundays in northern Chin State.
